Pilates & Prayer | Noon-12:45pm | Monday – Thursday starting June 12th
Join Kathryn over the lunch hour from noon-12:45 for Pilates and Prayer in Room 220
What is Pilates? Pilates is a low-impact exercise that focuses on building functional strength and movement to improve your day-to-day life. It is a whole-body workout that encourages you to think about yourself as a person who moves and the best way to support those movements by developing strength and mobility. It is not yoga. However, it’s a great exercise for nearly everyone. Disclaimer: I, Kathryn, am not a trained Pilates instructor but simply wanted to add more movement into my day. So, why not join me over your lunch hour! Bring your own workout mat, (dollar general has a purple one that is pretty affordable), & water bottle and I'll bring the Pilates video and devotion for the day.

Building Healthy Families: It’s been said that children may not always be good at listening to their parents, but they never fail to imitate them. The words you speak are less important than the everyday life you lead. Your children (and grandchildren) are constantly learning about life by watching you. What an immense responsibility. What an incredible privilege! Pray that God will help you to be the kind of adult that you want your child (or grandchild) to become. Lutheran Family Service www.LutheranFamilyService.org
