Building Healthy Families:
Building Healthy Families: The truth hurts, or so they say, but lies hurt so much worse. Little white lies count here, too. Whether you are a teenager relating to your parent, a husband or wife relating to your spouse, or a friend relating to another friend, pledge to yourself and tho them to always be truthful…even (and maybe most especially) when it would be easier not to. Don’t try to cover things up. Over time, it will cause the relationship to suffer from a lack of trust. Honest words spoken in love build up relationships. “We trap ourselves by telling lies, but we stay out of trouble by living right.” (Proverbs 12:13) Lutheran Family Service www.LutheranFamilyService.org
